What is Art4peeps?
Art4peeps is an active Art-making and learning hub for the public. We believe Art is for everyone, and that making Art is joyful and satisfying. We feel our lives expand when we share Art with others!
Annika
Annika has a BFA in Illustration from Parsons School of Design NYC, and studied many years with her mentor, Artist David J Passalacqua. Teaching art to all ages since college, she is the Atelierista at the Reggio preschool ‘Seeds of Wonder Journey School’ in Roswell GA.
When not in Roswell she is teaching and hosting art events and parties for adults and children in and around N Atlanta. She makes fine art, illustrations, murals and art wear and is publishing a book on open ended process art.
Originally from Hawaii, Annika lives with her husband and three kids in Suwanee, GA.
Annika attended Free School & Waldorf/Steiner Schools across the US and in the U.K. The progressive education model creating her formative relationship to art. As an Atelierista in the Reggio Emilia structure, the open-ended child-led model has inspired her to share the joyful process with those who may not have exposure to these alternative philosophies.
